Reading Room

Our Reading Room is a library and bookstore, – and more.

The Reading Room is open Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11:00-3pm by appointment. To borrow or purchase literature, please contact the Librarian via phone or text 916-201-4737.

This Reading Room is our gift to Carmichael and neighboring towns regardless of one’s faith. Here you may borrow and purchase the Bible, the Christian Science textbook Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by our founder, Mary Baker Eddy as well as related books, pamphlets, audio books and music. We have archived periodicals containing accounts of healing by Christian Science treatment and articles that share insights on this healing ministry. These same periodicals and books are available at JSH-Online
